Learn the practice of gathering and dyeing. We will explore the traditional dyes of Indigo, Javanese wood barks, turmeric and what you have in your own back yard.

Batik + Natural Dyeing

Experience the complete process of making batik from start to finish. Make your own Batik, with symbols and motives inspired by Indonesian heritage. Javanese traditional methodologies and theories of craft will be thought and applied, for your own contemporary usages and meditative practice.
